
Winter Squash Casserole
| 6 cups | mashed Winter Squash | 1.5 L |
| 1/2 cup | butter, melted | 125 mL |
| 6 | eggs, beaten | 6 |
| 1 cup | sugar | 250 mL |
| 1/2 tsp | salt | 2 mL |
| 1 cup | packed brown sugar | 250 mL |
| 1/2 cup | butter, softened | 125 mL |
| 1/4 cup | all-purpose flour | 60 mL |
| 1/2 cup | slivered almonds | 125 mL |
DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Pour into an un-greased 13” x 9” x 2” (23 cm x 33 cm x 5 cm) baking dish.
Combine topping ingredients and crumble over the top. Bake, uncovered, at 350° F (180° C) for 45 minutes or until a knife inserted near the centre comes out clean.
